• Welcome Stacy - brief round of introductions - Stacy not on, so will do next call

Review Working Groups progress

• Laboratory Interoperability Data Registry (LIDR) Working Group

  • Decided to create LIVD format data collection for Serum Potassium analyzers - as example of harmonized tests

  • UDI presentation will be on the call on 10/9

• IVD Data Hub

  • Working on white paper to document the vison of the IVD datahub - have outline, reviewing over next week and then research different sections across the WG members

• Standards Updates and Vocabulary Working Group

  • no meeting this week

  • have good spread of SMEs across different domains, so will identify what specific use cases to focus on by creating a matrix of impact and clinical benefit - might put one from micro / qualitative / quantitative - survey to go out this week to WG members with response before the next call

• Communications and Branding Working Group

  • several questions around WG charge and scope<ADD LINK>:

    • Communication channels

      • admin for sure,

      • content need to differentiate between informal (Communication WG) and formal communications (Steering WG)

        • formal: Roadmap, formal SHIELD WG deliverables, SHIELD community presentations, linkedin

        • informal: 2 pagers, outreach email branding, announcements, communicaton channels (limited folks)

      • types of channels:

        • current confluence page

        • webpage with SHIELD domain name (WG to bring back costs. maybe allow sponsor notice on the webpage)

        • linkedIn profile - WG to review

        • Twitter (X) - WG to review

    • Be another set of eyes on presentation to have consistent look and feel

    • Coordinate / collate suggestions for presentations / conferences

    • SHIELD Logo was created for the SHIELD community (the X means Diagnostics), WG can alter, if desired
