  • Any update on CAP Article?

    • Kevin needs to follow up with Bob M.

    • Want to insure that there is enough new developments to report on.

    • Dr. Lu’s presentation at API helped inform Bob of progress.

      • Can we get a copy of Dr. Lu’s presentation?

      • Presentation recordings may be available to attendees shortly, and to general public after about 6 months

      • Kevin Schap will check with API.

  • Follow up on conversation with Nick Decker and Data Hub Workgroup

    • FDA interested in IVD Data Hub for post-market analysis

    • Data de-identification of RWD

    • What is the lever to get labs to provide the data (and standardize the data)?

    • What is the process to move forward with the SHIELD initiatives?

      • ONC Certification of LIS - CMS incentive program could contain “meaningful use” options related to SHIELD.

      • CDC RFP for ELR/Public Health Reporting/Pandemic Response?

      • CAP Lab Interoperability Cooperative

  • Discuss member survey

    • Make first topic at next call

    • Create a separate Confluence page for existing work from 5/8 workgroup session

  • Status of HIMSS 2025 Submission

    • Additional speakers - No word back from Roche or Epic

    • Eric will follow up.

  • Discuss Deloitte conversation and any follow up

    • 6/7 call with Peyton Marion and Raja Cholan from Deloitte representing FDA SHIELD. Also attended by Andrea Pitkus and Julia Skapik.

    • Eric will follow up with Peyton.

      • 6/19 - Received email from Peyton. Can’t share presentation proposal without FDA approval. Some of content isn’t relevant to SHIELD. Commitment to coordinate if/when both presentations are approved.

    • Next meeting will be July 17th. July 3rd instance has been cancelled.
