Logistics

  • Consider connectathon for LIDR - Dan will take a look - no update

  • LIDR White Paper under SC review until Feb 21 (no action so far)

    • Carmen added a few more comments - reviewed these today:

      • Fixed the typos

      • Adjusted the section around lab result values being sent by labs and issues with current implementations

      • added response to the question around creation of qualitative result value sets

      • Specimen - pre-coordination vs post-coordination

        • both need to be supported

        • type is always required, the others are when needed, which is not just needed for AP tests

        • best practice would be to record specimen attributes in post-coordinated manner at time of collection, as that is better able to record all the details (combinatorial explosion for pre-coordinated terms will prevent capturing at the right level - example lung tissue biopsy from upper right lobe of lung)

      • need to decide how to support the post-cooridination in LIDR

      • Made bulleted list and moved semi-quant between quant and qual result values

      • wordsmithed semi-quant values

        • note that Michelle Stra??? did a paper on the variation of semi-quant scales used for the same urin-analysis instrument we could cite

Decisions requiring context or tracking

For decisions that require more context (e.g., documentation of discussion, options considered) and/or tracking, use the decision template to capture more information.
