AI Health Tools (ChatGPT Health, Claude Health)- Opportunity to engage with these companies to help them understand the complexities of lab data as well as the potential for AI to help.
AI - OpenAI/ChatGPT Health, Claude Health are analyzing health data. Are they fully aware of the complexities of lab result data? Propose reaching out to OpenAI to start a discussion. Discuss with Steering Committee. Is anyone working with any AI companies related to lab data? Does SHIELD have a consensus opinion on use of AI to help improve lab result interoperability/supplement a more traditional approach?
Workgroup to continue discussion/research on next workgroup call and then discuss with Steering Committee.
