Vision 2030 work	https://docs.google.com/document/d/11A9VyhtSGm9dCjJNOi7_eJzz3gPDMYhkmNCoQNVbxuo/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.yp9lsvo5yvsf Follow up from last call when discussed see minutes: 2026-04-29 Steering Committee Meeting Notes last time we talked with Serge: 2026-03-04 Steering Committee Meeting Notes Serge is available Aug 11, 2026 Discussion today: Focus on the vision statement covering Serge’s questions in a coherent manner For Aug 11, 2026 call get more insights on Serge’s plan of dissemiation of the vison statement - what is his desired outcome for this effort We should add the Problem statement then have a goals session and then how we would get to the goals Maybe ask Scott Campbell about reaching out to OHDSI if they can share info on lab data that is part of their reserach that commons - they map data elements to OHDSI OMOP data elements from across different organizations worldwide - this mapping can be automated, if the data uses standards in the EHR-s, else that mapping would be manual and take more time and might end up with differnt mapings potentially for some OHDSI OMOP data elements with nuanced differences (all terminologies can be seen here: https://athena.ohdsi.org/search-terms/start ) Can we articluate SMART goals in this vision document made changes directly in the document - will pick this back on tomorrow’s SC call

Action items

For Vison 2030 identify the low hanging fruit and pick timelines and phased adoption goals

All review the ASTP/ONC Lab Data Interop report and pull out items that SHIELD can support / identify the order of steps needed to improve adoption and provide a feasible timeline and phased milestone list

LIS vendor certification incentives (or IHE Connectathons and capability statements)

CAP proficiency testing pilot to include UDI in the interface and gather LOINCs for the tested platforms and review and update, where needed, then import that into LIDR and make public - LIDR WG addressing this one

Find high return PH/emergency preparedness use cases for PH pilot and LIDR population (we already have the crowdsourced LIVD file, maybe see, if we can’t get more active participation in filling it out)

Robyn and Scott will brainstorm on next steps for creating guidance document around when to use free text vs discrete data vs coded discrete data and other implementation guidance around coding

Gather lists of qualitative results from LabCorp (Carmen) ARUP (Jenna), SonicHealth (Eric)
