45 Minutes	Gather Feedback on Articles 5-7 of Draft Charter	Huguelet	ARTICLE FIVE: MEETINGS OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE Section 5: Vote Required by Action Based upon feedback, a consensus was reached that a separate non-voting, ex officio-type group of SC representatives which can be filled with liaisons from governmental entities. Section 6: Action by Representatives Without a Meeting Section 7: Virtual Meetings This section was removed as being superfluous. ARTICLE SIX: NOTICE AND RULES OF ORDER Section 1: Procedure for Notices Section 2: Rules of Order Drs. Luu & Nirmala will be reviewing various approaches to “rules of order” and will present their findings & recommendations at our next working session. ARTICLE SEVEN: OFFICERS Section 1: Number and Qualifications The group reached consensus that the roles of scribes and parliamentarians for meetings should not be an office. Rather, the Chair, Vice Chair, or Co-Chair presiding at a meeting shall appoint an attendee to each of these roles.
