  • Welcome and Introductions of committee members – 1 min/person

  • Level Set - see powerpoint

  • For the upcoming weeks:

    • Identify 3 Strategies for the committee that align with the overall goal of SHIELD

    • Identify Key Initiatives/Action Items for each of the 3 strategies and deliverables that would accompany these initiatives 

    • Develop a 3-year timeline/plan for implementation

  • Topics for discussion

    • Call schedule – is 30 minutes enough?

      • Try 30 minutes and homework for now

    • Collaboration tools to use?

      • Teams – would need someone to set up a group

      • Sharepoint– would need someone to set up a group and provide access

      • Confluence – APHL can create a page - will try that for now

  • New data elements being available in LOINC content to support automation of LOINC code selection - on LOINC Committee agenda in future = https://loinc.org/forums/topic/api-for-all-data/
