To ensure a successful implementation, you will need to provide the required resources with the appropriate skill set and availability. Below are details for resource requirements on a standard APHL ETOR Implementation.

  • Acts are point person for PHL and HCO involved in the implementation project

  • Manages project and TA engagements including: scheduling and project planning, stakeholder management, risk identification and mitigation, issue tracking and solutioning, communication, and associated documentation per APHL standards

  • Ensures TA team provides support for implementation and milestones met

  • Coordinates with team, PHL, and HCO to ensure tasks are completed and progress made

  • Provides project management activities following APHL and PMO policies

  • Collates feedback from APHL TA Team, PHL, and HCO on implementation process opportunities for improvement

Sustaining

  • Acts are point person for PHL and HCO involved in the implementation project

Lab Workflow SME

Implementation

  • Observes, documents, and assesses current PHL and HCO workflows and processes

  • Leads and analyzes gap analysis for

  • Document requirements for selected test(s) (e.g., how many/which LOINC codes)

Sustaining

  • Acts are point person for PHL and HCO involved in the implementation project

Terminologist

Implementation

  • Assists with mapping local-to-standardized values across different vocabulary domains

  • Assists in implementation of public health integration use cases using national messaging standards (HL7) and implementation guides

  • Collaborates with project teams and management of tasks using collaboration tools

Sustaining

Tech Architect

(Data Integration Engineer)

Implementation

  • Analyzes client IT environments and messaging capabilities

  • Helps to identify and implement technical solutions to meet messaging requirements

  • Provides TA consulting to HCO and PHL to advise on implementation of IT messaging solutions

  • Collaborates with project team members and manage assigned tasks using collaboration tools
