AIMS+ Topics | Benson | Indiana brought up an issue about using the same accession number across all individuals in a pool. Basically, they need to have the accession number be unique for the individual. Battelle only reports negatives via this chanel! Let’s ask in the ticket what field Indiana pulls the accession number from Battelle sends the same accession numbers for all the patients that are part of the pool, which makes sense options: use the original specimen IDs that were used to create the pool - only works if Battelle creates the pools append the pooled ID with -1, -2 etc up to -10
2. Battelle has noticed that there is only about a 66% match between schools that they testing for and the NCES database. We would like to discuss what we need to add to the guidance for when the NCES ID is unknown. a. Is there a way to add in more NCES IDs - getting examples from Battelle b. consider coming up with a “not availabel value” if we cannot resolve the missing entries - bring this up on the Thursday call. |

Confluence Use | All | Can we pull all action items into the minutes - or onto another page, so we can review them regularly? I didn’t see how to use the template to create this page several links will need to be updated - and in some cases the related text riki.merrick Review updates to “What we do” - Phylis Y Stromile (Unlicensed) will compare project list that has LIVD / databases etc | Jerry | Last LIVD Expansion call folks complained about the format being a spreadsheet - convert to third normal form Also Richard Moldwin (CAP) added 2 tabs to the LIVD file that included analytes and instruments (Jerry has that) Jerry working on creating the specimen and result mapping tables- here is some mapping clean up to do on the master. this is a good approach to helping us decide on how we will approach the LIVD file repository |
Confluence Use | All | Reviewed updates to “What we do” Phylis has been writing out acronyms and also adding brief summary statements for each project some projects don;t have confluence presence, so loking at CDC pages and pulling content from there
Some of the items on the project list have no links against existing confluence pages - may need to run by PMO as suggestion to add some of these Amanda PayneCheck with Elizabeth Sprouse (Unlicensed) these / some are typical vocab functions - Jamie, RIki and Phylis will decide how to handle these
- Check with if there is a way to search confluence pages for page links that are in more than one spot - for example the links to the config
spces Amanda Payne check - heck if the template can be updated to reflect the latest content in the tables (I had to remove some bullets from this cell for example, that we had covered previously and I also had converted some of the bullet points below into action items

Show and Tell? | | Move this to the bottom of the template under links / or as its own section. SOP Worthy Topics Review the list of SOP worthy topics and add more (what do you think folks need to know, if they are taking over your work, or what skill do you know one of us has, that you would like to learn more about)
|
Succession Planning (Time Permitting) | | We will review this on the next call - identify what we have already addressed and then move it to links at the bottom of the template We need to create a means to incorporate succession planning into our work since we’d all like to retire someday. Riki made a mind map - consider making your own or adding to this one and see if we can come up with some action items/milestones and target dates Documentation management – how to tag emails and documents going forward to ensure rationale is evident and findable later Having “Show and Tell” calls – for all to learn from each other: how to use a particular tool, what you learned from a conference, etc. Have a dedicated call for the topics on the second Wednesday of the months Have a list of possible topics and expected time for those, so we can pick when we have time left over on regular calls
Moving to Confluence should help for harmonization of change requests, retention of institutional knowledge, etc.
