1APHL ETOR Implementation Handbook
Note that this page and all child pages are still in development. The preliminary sharing of this information is intended to benefit the ETOR initial implementers in preparation for their implementations, with the understanding that some information may change as our development evolves.
Welcome to the APHL Electronic Test Orders and Results (ETOR) implementation. As a user of APHL’s ETOR intermediary, you will be able to securely exchange test orders and results between healthcare organizations and public health laboratories.
Implementation of APHL’s ETOR solution requires a coordinated effort between multiple organizations. APHL will leverage its proven Technical Assistance Methodology to manage this effort. This methodology provides a highly supportive, structured approach to facilitate efficient and effective management, communication, and coordination of your implementation.
This handbook will serve as a guide for what to expect during your implementation and will help to ensure appropriate preparation and successful outcomes. The intended audience for this guide is the public health laboratory and their identified healthcare organizations.
Our team is committed to providing exceptional services and support throughout this process.
We look forward to working with you and your team.
Sincerely,
APHL ETOR Program Team
