Action Items:

·       Making sure we are able to access the confluence sites

·       Really focus on the couple strategies we need

·       Figure out what organizations we want to work with

  1. Further discuss strategies that align with the overall goal of SHIELD

a.        This will help us with the Strategy Map component of the Strategic Plan document

  1. Identify partners and their current policies that this committee wants to align with

  1. If time allows – discuss a potential 3 year timeline to carry out the tasks/initiatives/produce deliverables

Issues/Resolution:

·       Strategies:

o   In line with the agenda, I just wanted to put this out there. There was the item of aligning with SHIELD's goals. The goals are 1) creating a Laboratory Interoperability Data Repository (LIDR) and 2) clinical interoperability, particularly for lab data

·       Need to focus on which stakeholders are involved (LIS vendors)

·       Need to focus on goals as well to narrow down the focus on the vendors

·       Making sure we are able to access the confluence sites
