Lab Project Overview notes

They are working with their final Quest ELR nonstandard lab implementation across the AIMS platform.

They are currently implementing what is called SJC SunQuest (IFD) with Quest.

Will need all appropriate contacts with each jurisdiction as Quest implements this.

Quest will be following the HL7 2.5.1 ELR messaging standard. The goal is to make sure the structure and content of the messages are consistent of what the messages are currently being generated by the QLS system.

The goal (hard deadline) is to have this implemented across all jurisdictions by the end of June.

This will fall under the SJC umbrella.

MSH-10 Accession numbers will be the same. SJC accession numbers are 1 Alpha and 8 numeric characters.

The CLIA numbers will be the same.

Kickoff meeting was completed with SJC SunQuest, and work has been in progress over 2 months.

Right now, they have identified the entire country as their service area. As indicated in the illustration, they have identified three pilot sites (CA, NY, and HI). They have been in contact with them with test messages.

Some of these jurisdictions may not be receiving data (due to low volume) but the goal is to onboard every jurisdiction in the country.

They have 5 Cohort groups (including the pilot).

March 13-June 28-Finalize 1st live ELR’s (Pilot Sites)

June 28-All PHA’s in Production

The Major contacts for this project are provided within the PowerPoint Presentation.

We will keep everyone posted on this matter as it continues on this ELR call.

Thank you to all who submitted TA requests last week. We escalated those to our CDC partners for review. The PHIN MS and ARUP discussions are in progress and will be discussed at a later date.
