Ensure perspective is presented - all please fill in that column

What about SC members who have not yet attedned any calls, nor have they been active in ALL-SHIELD calls?

ASM and IHE have non-participation clauses - ASM Example:

Nonparticipation Defined:

  1. Three (3) consecutive missed conference calls / meetings without giving notification to either staff or the Chair and not fulfilling project assignments in the meantime. It is an undue burden for volunteers to participate in conference calls outside of their normal business hours, i.e., volunteers who reside in the Eastern Hemisphere. Therefore, participation in online discussions during the month and/or fulfilling project assignments will be an adequate substitute for attendance at conference calls/meetings.

  1. Volunteer does not participate in position description responsibilities, e.g., does not accomplish projects as assigned by the Chair.

We should add a clause like that - need to define the requriements - add as topic to future agenda.

Riki will reach out to the folks that have been nominated, but have not attended any meetings so far - we may need to find replacements.

Additional SC members (alternate voters and government representatives

Declaring alternate members is up to each organizational member

Add Government Representatives - per the charter the SC invites Governmental agencies, who can then nominate their primary and alternate representatives

Elect Officers

Nominations

Chair: Riki Merrick, Stan Huff (declined), Robyn Smolkin (declined)

Vice Chair: Andrea Pitkus, Scott Campbell

Voting For Vice Chair:

Scott declined anyways

Elected Officers: Chair = Riki Merrick, Vice Chair = Andrea Pitkus

Next call agenda

  • Pass the Community Roadmap

  • Stand up Committees

    • Strategy 1 - Laboratory Interoperability Data Repository (LIDR)

    • Strategy 2 - Support dataflow throughout the ecosystem

    • Strategy 3 - Tooling

    • Strategy 4 - IVD Data Hub

    • Overarching Strategy - Communications and Branding

    • Overarching Strategy - Evaluation and Feedback Loops

    • Next Steps:

      • Call for volunteers on April ALL SHIELD

      • Start Committee work when they are ready

        • Co-Chairs as leadership for the WG

        • One of WG leadership must be a SC member - so we can pick who wants to be on what group, other Co-chairs can be from the WG, not all need to be a SC member

        • Would be good to have consistency across WG for set up

Call Cadence

  • Cancel April 4

  • NEXT CALL April 18, 2023 12 - 1 PM ET

Adjourned

12:54 PM ET

For recording access (SC members only) reach out to Riki

Action items

@riki.merrick to send call for nomination out to the government participants on the ALL SHIELD call list
@riki.merrick to follow up with folks that have missed SC calls to date
